Before Elegant Escapes Travel, I spent 12 years as a special education teacher. My days were spent listening closely, solving problems, juggling a hundred moving pieces, and understanding that what works beautifully for one person might be completely wrong for another.
I didn't realize it at the time, but those years were shaping the way I would eventually approach travel.
Because here's what I know: there is no single "best" hotel, cruise, destination, or itinerary. There's only what's right for you. How you like to spend your days. What excites you. What stresses you out. Where you want to splurge, and where you'd rather save. And most importantly, how you want to feel when you finally arrive.
Eventually, my love of travel and planning grew into something more than a personal passion. I saw how easily the excitement of planning a trip could turn into hours of research, endless comparisons, and second-guessing every decision.
I created Elegant Escapes Travel to offer something different: personalized guidance, thoughtful recommendations, and the confidence that comes from having an experienced professional in your corner.

Today, I bring together everything I loved about teaching with my experience traveling the world: getting to know people, solving complicated problems, and creating something around the individual rather than expecting the individual to fit a template.
